Well, he might be a bunny backstop, if Lucy and Ethel roll the ball against him.
He is preserving his energy for when there may be a chance for treats.
I've been keeping an eye out for a treatball in football (I'm in the UK) colours but they are all carrots or spots etc. Scamp loves to chase it around for treats :)
