Lucy eating her greens

Lucy gives this task tremendous concentration.


The new camera is great ... you can see her blue eyes.
Well, eye.

You can also see that some white hairs are popping through the black. I hope an almost 2 year old bunny is not getting gray. This is pre-grooming, so that's probably what it is. Look near her tail and you can see tufts of fluffy hair, suspended in mid-shed.

  1. It always amazes me how bunnies can eat long bits of veggies/greens and never drop a single thing!

    1. What I want to know is if they really are like little wood chippers - are they biting off that long stalk into tiny bits to swallow ... or are they just pulverizing it and "processing" that long stalk basically whole?
      Either way, I always find it fascinating (and amusing).
