Frankenbunny!

The bunnies started a new shed a week or so ago. Ethel is not so bad. Plus, she's easy to pick up.

Lucy needs to be groomed, but is hellacious to catch. So she ends up running around, giving us the "evil eye", with lots of little tufts of hair sticking out of her butt. Okay, Lucy, just stay that way.

Of the three, Bunya sheds the worst. Maybe it has something to do with his being the softest, too. Bunya's shed usually involves a little chevron that migrates up or down his face. Sometimes, more than one stripe.

Well, this shed, Bunya's stripes have moved south, to his butt region. He's like a popular potato chip - he has ridges.
Posing for the camera.
Nah, not really. He was looking for a treat.
Detail of Frankenbunny's ridges.
Looks like some assembly was required,
a 3-D fuzzy jigsaw puzzle.

You would think that grooming might help with this.
He was groomed.

  2. I love it when my bunnies start moulting on their heads, and end up with hearts and stripes on their foreheads!

    1. Yes! Bunya had a great heart in this picture (along with a wavy stripe forming over his nose):
