One day in the Maze Haven

Another bunny activity of daily life - play.
Doesn't really need a lot of explanation.
Ethel likes being up high (when it is someplace she can get up to and down from by herself).
Lucy is in all of the pictures with Ethel, just never the same place twice.
Peek-a-boo!

Our Maze Haven is from Binky Bunny.

One bunny pen cleaning day ...

Well, apparently, the bunnies like their maze haven - even when it's upside down.

Sunday morning is typically bunny pen cleaning day. Everything comes out so we can vacuum stray hair or the errant poop. Their boxes and toys are jumbled together and the maze haven was set upside down on the coffee table (it gives you the opportunity to run the lint brush on the edges and remove more hair).

Well, that just gave them more to explore. Anything to fight bunny boredom.

Lucy was first on the upside down haven.
Always willing to explore, Ethel pops up like a little "whack-a-mole".

They briefly confer.

Lucy peeks over the edge at
all the other toys and boxes piled on the table.

Ethel trying to decide "in or out?"

Decision - stay in for now.

Maze Havens are from the Binky Bunny and you can get your bunnies one here.
When I went to get the link, I noticed that they are on sale at the moment.
Also, the main picture of it is one big flat unit. Scroll the pictures underneath - you can build it into different patterns, including the 2-story one we did.

The bunnies explore the Maze Haven

As previously noted in Pop goes the bunny! (a very funny video, if you haven't seen it yet), the bunnies got a Maze Haven from the Binky Bunny (which goes to show, we need to lock up the credit cards and password protect the basement computer). It has been assembled (the day received) and put into play ...

(the configuration chosen;
you can build others
from the same materials)

Getting a better look.

Tank commander Ethel telling Lucy where to aim (the treat jar).
Or maybe Ethel is the periscope and Lucy's peeking out of a porthole.

Verdict? Pretty nifty!

To keep the bunnies entertained, the maze was
set into their pen as a change of pace, rearranging the furniture,
to try to stave off boredom with the same old thing.
The favorite Cherrios box remains.
Of course, as always, the bunnies will move the various things in the pen where they want them. As it should be.

Pop goes the bunny!

This is a really cute video. The bunny is playing in a Maze Haven from The Binky Bunny - I was happy to see it because I ordered one (before I saw the video).
> : )

Anyway, this bunny hears the crinkle of a treat bag and pops out of the top ... over and over and over. Yes, bunnies are trainable. There's clicker training ... and bag crinkle training. Whatever works.

Our Maze Haven arrived yesterday and was assembled last night. Expect some pictures soon!
