Funny Bunny Monday Meme*day
Die-hard James Bond 007 fan (Sean Connery a bonus).
Saw this and burst out laughing. Bunny's attitude conveys the classic line.
Auric Goldfinger to James Bond in Goldfinger (1964), in reply to James Bond's question: Do you expect me to talk?

Funny Bunny Monday Meme*day
Vegetable gardens and farms ravaged!
Buildings chinned to the ground!
Bunny poops the size of a Volkswagen!

I think we've got another blockbuster on our hands.

Bun, James Bun. Or Lucy thumps at Goldfinger
Lucy was chill-axin' with us, all comfy, just watching some tube.
Then one of the classics came on: 007 ... Goldfinger!
| Lucy in her post- and pre-thump stance |
Something set Lucy off at the beginning of this movie and three of her thumps were caught on video. Usually, they are so fast and discreet (the movement, not the noise), we can't even spot who thumped. I wasn't even sneezing (typically, Ethel's trigger to express her extreme disapproval).
Lucy does kind of have that polished black tuxedo and crisp white shirt 007 look, though.
What's not to like ... Great movie? James Bond/007? Sean Connery? Shirley Bassey?
Sorry, Lucy, we will have to agree to disagree about this one.
*THUMP!*

Reel Rabbits
Reel Rabbits - No, not a new TruTV show. It turns out our source for bunny slippers (the appropriately named bunnyslippers.com) has a blog and they recently posted a montage of fast paced movie clips about our favorite topic - bunnies!
P.S. If you can name the movies in order, you can win a $100 gift certificate (there are 32 clips from 27 movies). Hint: Roger Rabbit is first and in there more than once.
And they even included Neo in The Matrix because he had to follow the white rabbit to find
(Lago)Morph-eus.

More bunnies on TV
A RR fan in the UK spotted bunnies in a rerun on TV (the telly?) and shared a picture from the show.
Channel surfing, I spotted some bunnies in a movie on TV. It was Fool's Gold with Mathew McConaughey.
First, it showed a a cool neon bunny sign.
Then it showed a bunny being held and pet by a character named Bigg Bunny. When I heard the name at first, I really thought he was called "Big Bunya" but Mrs. Bunnymom was pretty sure it was not. She was right.

The Simpsons - Giant Bunnies
Yeah, someone on The Simpsons must like bunnies.
I think this was from their latest Halloween Treehouse of Horror episode, at least in part a take-off of Avatar. In this clip of Nature versus the Machines, Nature is represented by giant bunnies - who "thump" to destroy the enemy!
Prior observations of TV bunnies were here.
TV commericals with bunnies were in 3 posts: 1, 2, 3 (so far)

Bunny Halloween Fail
We were prepared for Halloween. Too much candy purchased fairly close to the holiday, so we didn't have to re-buy the candy.
My "costume", a "tip of the hat" to Halloween, bunnies and the 6 foot tall bunny, Harvey.
Today's post was to be pictures of any trick or treaters that came as bunnies. Alas, no takers.

| Read about Harvey at Wikipedia and IMDb. |
Now we have to get rid of all that candy. My wife's office will get a huge sweet surprise today. Hopefully, no sugar comas and the work will still get done.

Bunnies, take your marks and ... Action!
Anyone out there in bunny blog land able to name this movie and director?
(I'll be back later and add the answer to this post.)
Answer: The Lady Vanishes (1938); Alfred Hitchcock, director
(This unanswered post was originally up about a month ago.)
