Feeling smarter already, aren't you?

Bunny Miscellanea

Whether you believe in evolution, if you have bunnies, you believe in devolution.

Like of paper towel tubes ...

Realized, they chew them in a similar pattern, every time they get a new one.

Other things to watch out for (when you have bunnies) are the devolution of wires and baseboards...

Before we learned better ...

Took our eyes off for 1 minute ...

Some old business and some new business

Facebook page: Be sure to check out the Facebook page - it has extra posts, pictures, links, memes, current events and such. You do not have to be a FB member to view it.

New blog page: Bunny Advocacy Memes - trying to collect and share them as found.

Have you checked out the Bunny Things page? If it's been a while, there are new additions.

Buncam: This was giving us some fits for a while but hopefully, it has been resolved with an upgraded PC and accessories so it can be on the air more reliably. More fully described on the buncam page, here are a few viewing highlights:
Usually on about 9 AM - 11 PM, east coast time
(but for Sunday mornings - pen cleaning day).
You can see the door to their pen and if it's open, they may be wandering around.
If it's closed and you don't see them, they may be hiding in a box.
All bets are off if electricity goes off or UStream is doing maintenance.

Thanks for being a regular Rabbit Ramblings reader!

Ethel multi-tasks: TV & Laptop

Ethel hopped up on the coffee table and sat down to watch TV.

Felt like she was waiting for TV snacks.

Then she slid on over to the computer to check out what's going on there.
Must have been during a TV commercial.

Ethel: Where's my Facebook page, or my Bunspace page?
Or Daily Bunny? Or Disapproving Rabbits -
which I will be if you don't change this to something interesting.

The she tried out the keyboard by pawing a key. Since she was standing on it, it gave a ratta-tatta machine gun-like sound, which scared her -- and she was gone!
That was the end of Ethel's computer experience.

Multi-tasking can be dangerous.

RR Submission - Mongo & Monkey (and GHRS Challenge update)

Remember Mongo and Monkey? RR met them at the GHRS Holiday party. Mongo was sitting on Monkey, which may explain Monkey's picture and attitude below. Fortunately, Mongo is a licensed therapy bunny, so he can help Monkey recover from the trauma. M&M's human slave sent RR some current photos - and even made funny memes out of them!

We understand, Monkey, we understand.
(and a Tip o' the hat to Disapproving Rabbits,
a very funny bunny site)

Mongo ,,, looks beery comfortable.

Don't worry about Mongo. His human wrote: The beer bottle was empty and very thoroughly washed, so no bunny was hurt while making this picture :-D

Think these will have to be added to a Funny Bunny Meme page near you.

Thank you, Bunny Shaming!

<<< Here's the status of the "challenge" issued fbo GHRS.
The 10% jump in fundraising is due to "The Bunny Shaming Effect".
Bunny Shaming posted the challenge on their Facebook page and their fans kindly responded for the benefit of GHRS. If you have not found or "Liked" their page, check it out for lots of bunny related chuckles (you don't even have to be on Facebook to view it).

We're still only at about 20% of the potential award to GHRS.
Please help GHRS buy the bunnies' shelter home via a Facebook "Like"...
Rabbit Ramblings will donate funds to the GHRS capital campaign based on the net increase in RR page "Likes" on its Facebook page by March 31, 2013. So, you still have just over a month to rally the bunny-loving brigade.

If you have already "Liked" RR (thank you from RR & GHRS), then tell your bunny friends to "Like" RR on Facebook, re-post the challenge or "share" it from the RR Facebook page.

GHRS is an all volunteer no-kill shelter that rescues, rehabilitates and finds homes for abandoned and abused domestic rabbits.

As to Mr. Bunya:

Bunya snuggling with BunnyMom

Progressing but not at the "we can bring him home point". Was re-x-rayed Friday and also visited by BunnyMom. So, we are hoping Saturday; if that looks likely, we will take Lucy & Ethel to the vet to spend the day with Bunya and bring them all home together later in the day.
