Then she slid on over to the computer to check out what's going on there.
Must have been during a TV commercial.

The she tried out the keyboard by pawing a key. Since she was standing on it, it gave a ratta-tatta machine gun-like sound, which scared her -- and she was gone!
That was the end of Ethel's computer experience.
Multi-tasking can be dangerous.
